Underdown House is a delightful mid-18th century house standing within extensive grounds and a few minutes drive of all the amenities and facilities of the North Kent coast. Herne Bay provides all one’s daily needs with beaches, a supermarket, shops and a train station with direct access to London, etc., whilst Whitstable boasts a selection of chic shops, restaurants and two theatres.
The Cathedral city of Canterbury, with its many shopping, cultural and sporting amenities is a 25 minute drive away.
This fine house retains much of the character of the period with large, well proportioned rooms, panelled doors, ceiling mouldings etc.
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with a cloakroom. To the left is a large dining room featuring an open fireplace, table and chairs for 10/12 and a piano.
