The hallway is set to the left of the front door, off which is the cloakroom. To the right of the front door is a charming snug with smart TV and there is a door down to a useful utility room with washing machine.
Beyond the hall is a lovely bright and well-fitted kitchen breakfast room with 5 ring/wok, double oven Smeg range cooker, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher. With a wide door to the garden the room is flooded with light.
A bespoke handmade kitchen offers plenty of stylish and well-designed storage. From either end of the room double doors lead respectively in to the conservatory and the drawing room.
The drawing room is wonderfully calm and tranquil with double doors overlooking the garden. An open fireplace with a fitted wood burner is the focal point of the room with fitted cupboards and shelves housing a music system to one side. Adjoining and reached through a second set of double doors is the conservatory – a lovely room with table and chairs for 10, perfect for entertaining.
Upstairs the master bedroom is at the back of the house and overlooks the garden. There is a generous and beautifully fitted en-suite shower room with large shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. There are then two further bedrooms (5ft beds), a single bedroom and a family bathroom with bath, large shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
A large terrace with a wooden pergola is set to one side of the house.
Beyond is a mature, box-hedged knot garden with lovely varieties of old English roses planted within. From here steps lead up to the extensive level lawn with symmetrically planted yew trees. The house is swathed in old fashioned climbing roses, giving a riot of colour in mid-summer.
